Why Do You Need A Pokémon’s Training Account?

A Pokémon training account will act as a hinge or connector to the Pokémon universe. Be it getting updated with the latest Pokémon news or information, competing in live competitions, or playing the latest games, the Pokémon training account will cover all these aspects without asking for anything in return. The Pokémon trainers club is essentially an English equivalent of the Japanese Pokémon Daisuki Club.

Pokémon Trainer’s Club Account Login Guide

In order to log in to your Pokémon Trainer account, you will need a browser and not to mention an internet connection.

If you have them available, open your web browser and type sso.pokemon.com into your address bar. You will be taken to the Pokémon Trainer Club account log-in page, where there will be two boxes in front of you. One is the log-in box, while the other is the register box. If you already have an account then you may fill in your login details in the log-in box. On the other hand, those who are not in possession of any such account may start afresh by clicking on ‘create an account on the right box.

One thing to remember is that if you are younger in age, say 8-9 years of age trying to create an account, then the server won’t take your application directly and you will receive a pop-up message mentioning that your guardian can create the account for you. It has been mentioned on the Pokémon website that children under 13 years of age can’t directly create an account for themselves.
  • So, the next step in that case for you will be to fill in your guardian’s email id. The email from the server will be sent to your guardian, who will then create it on your behalf. You can read more about it from their Parent’s guide to Pokémon section.
  • Now, to the ones adopting the regular course, after having filled in the details you have to click ‘continue’ and the next step of the process will show up.

Account Creation

  • This time you will have to fill the first blank with a username. Make sure that the username is unique. Whether or not it is unique, you can check that through ‘check availability the option which is there right underneath. You will also be provided with suggestions based on your name to ease up the process a little bit. The next blank will require you to fill in the password. Here also you will have to follow a standard password protocol that requires you to include at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter, a number, and at least one other character that Is not a letter or digit, such as a *. After putting in your password and confirming it, fill in the next blank with your email address.
  • If you want to receive any notification from the website of any sort then tick the box right under the ‘confirm email blank’.
  • Secondly, if you want to display your Pokémon trainer club profile publicly then choose yes or no. The last blank would need you to fill in your screen name, selecting it would be equivalent to selecting a username, it should be unique and available.
  • After filling in all the details, click on the ‘submit button’. But before you do that, it is recommended that you read the ‘terms and conditions for use.
